Double Sized Lasagne

Ros: All the Gray boys love pasta and lasagne. It's also a great recipe to make and freeze if you're making it for someone else who is sick etc.


Serves 10-12.


Ingredients

1 large onion
900g mince (lamb/beef)
1 500g jar of Watties tomato pasta sauce
water
1 packet of tomato soup
6 Tbsp butter
6 Tbsp flour
850 mls milk

Method

1.  Mince mixture
 Fry 1 large onion with:
         Add 900g mince (lamb or beef)
         Add the jar of tomato pasta auce, some water and the packet of tomato soup.
Let simmer for 15 minutes.

2. White sauce
 Melt 6 Tbsp butter.
    Add 6 Tbsp flour.
    Gradually stir in 850 mls of milk.
    Cook until the mixture thickens.

3. Layer as follows:
     Layer meat course, then instant lasagne, then the white sauce, twice in a dish.
    Finish with white sauce.

4. Sprinkle with grated tasty cheese.

5. Bake for 40-45 mins.

(If freezing half the recipe, or reheating late, just cook for 30 mins first.)
