Prep Time: 10 mins
Total Time: 20 mins (depending on how quick a baller you are...!)
Makes: 23-25

Ingredients
2 cups hazelnuts, dry roasted and shelled
1 cup fresh medjool dates, pitted*
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-2 teaspoons water (optional)
pinch of salt

*You can use cheaper dried dates! Just soak them in boiling water for 20-30 mins first, and use 4-5 extra dates.

Instructions
1. Place hazelnuts in a high-speed food processor and process on high for about a minute or until you’ve created a meal.
2. Add in dates, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt and process on high for 1 to 2 more minutes, or until the dates have been pulverized into little pieces.
3. Check the consistency of the dough. Depending on the freshness of your dates, you might need to add in a teaspoon or two of water to make sure it’s soft enough to roll into balls.
4. Using a tablespoon, scoop out a heaped tablespoon of the mixture and roll between your palms to create a ball.
